The Falls Trail

	The Falls Trail traverses a Blackbutt forest to discover a precious rainforest ecosystem at the foot of Yoorigan (Middle Brother Mountain). Framed by soaring Bangalow palms, Yoorigan Falls shoot down from the rocky precipice 40 metres to a series of deep rainforest pools.
	Right: The Falls Begin high up on the 50 metre cliffs which run the length of our secluded rainforest preserve.

	The Cascades Trail follows the meandering Jerry’s Creek through the rainforest through the clearings and some beautiful stands of Bangalow palms to The Cascades, which pour into a delightful 50m deepwater pool. This pool at the Cascades features a sunny opening in the dense rainforest, which provides light to the marginal forest surrounds. This pool is full year-round.

		Pseudophryne coriacea (Red-backed Toadlet) This is found throughout the John's River region. Often found under leaf litter, the underside is a fascinating jet black and white-goods white! (Pictured, below)
